Heavy Duty RGB Extension Cable — 18AWG 3-Core Wire, 33FT / 10M
Heavy-duty 18AWG 3-core extension wire designed for long automotive, commercial, and addressable RGB LED installations.
This package includes 33 feet / 10 meters of raw 3-conductor wire, ready to be measured, cut, spliced, and integrated into your custom lighting project.
Thin extension wire can create excessive resistance, causing dim LEDs, incorrect colors, flickering, and uneven brightness across longer cable runs. The thicker 18AWG conductors help carry power more efficiently and reduce voltage loss compared with the lightweight wire commonly included with RGB and NeoPixel kits.

Raw Wire for Custom Installation
This cable does not include pre-installed connectors. The installer must cut, strip, solder, crimp, splice, insulate, and terminate the wire for the intended application.
Always maintain the correct power, ground, and data-wire order throughout the installation. Reversed polarity or incorrect pin order may permanently damage connected LED strips, controllers, or power supplies.
Voltage Drop Considerations
Heavy-duty 18AWG wire reduces resistance compared with thinner extension wiring, but it cannot eliminate voltage drop in every installation.
Long 5V LED runs, high pixel counts, and multiple connected strips may still require:
- Additional power injection
- Shorter wire runs
- Multiple fused power feeds
- Properly sized power supplies
- A shared ground between the controller and LEDs
Plan your wiring based on total current draw, cable length, operating voltage, and the number of LEDs being powered.
